1. Previous History - Alabama has won six of it's last 10 meetings with the Gamecocks, but only one of it's last four visits to South Carolina. All three of the Gamecocks home wins during that span came in games decided by two points or less though.

2. Momentum - The Tide are 2-0 in conference play, while the Gamecocks are 0-2. Alabama has been playing far better basketball in recent weeks, and they have all the momentum heading into tonight's game.

3. X-Factor - The Gamecocks are have covered the points just once in their last 5 home games vs. a team with a losing road record.
