The Coach's Friday NBA Trifecta
(NBA) Chicago vs. Detroit,
Total: 196.50 | -110.00 Over
Result: Win
Total: 196.50 | -110.00 Over
Result: Win
The Chicago Bulls will be in Detroit to take on the Pistons at the Palace of Auburn Hills in their first game since the All Star Break. The Pistons had been one of the hottest teams in the league until PG Brandon Jennings was lost for the season with a torn Achilles. The Pistons remain competitive thanks to their improved defense though, and we should expect a closely contested game in Detroit tonight.
Here are my keys to the game:
1. Previous History - These teams have played three straight that have gone over the total, but had seen four of five fall short of the number prior to that. The total in tonight's game is higher than it was any of those previous seven meetings.
2. Bulls Defense - Chicago won four straight prior to the All Star break, and it limited opponents to an average of just 88 points in those games. They held Detroit to just 92 points in a win at home in the only previous meeting with the Pistons this season.
3. X-Factor - The Bulls have seen the total go under in four straight on the road, and five of their last six overall.
Selection: This is a play on the Bulls@Pistons to go UNDER the total(10*)
