The Washington Wizards lost by a score of 89-81 in Philly last night, and it was their sixth straight loss. I think enough is enough, and with the Wizards returning home tonight to host the Pistons, I think they will end this terrible slump.
Here are my keys to the game:
1. Home Cookin' - The Wizards haven't looked particularly good at home lately, but they still own a 20-10 record in Washington. The Pistons are 11-15 on the road, and they are coming off consecutive losses to Cleveland and New York.
2. Injuries - Brandon Jennings scored 32 points and pulled in 10 rebounds in a win at Washington in the most recent meeting, but he's done for the year with a knee injury.
3. X-Factor - Fatigue should be an issue for both teams, but I expect the visitors to be a little more sluggish in this second game of a back-to-back for both teams.
Selection: This is a play on the Washington Wizards (8*)
