Result: Win
Point Spread: -2.50 | -112.00 Portland (Home)
Result: Win
The Portland Trialblazers will host Houston in Rip City tonight, and they'll be looking to bounce back from a 121-113 loss at Minnesota on Saturday. The Rockets are coming off a 114-100 win over the Nuggets in Denver, but tonight's game should prove to be a much tougher task.
Here are my keys to the game:
1. Home Cookin' - Not too many teams have left Portland with a victory this season, as the Blazers boast a home record of 26-6. The Blazers have won their last two home meetings versus Houston, and three of five overall during that span.
2. The Shot - This is the first time the Rockets are in Portland since Damian Lillard hit a series winning three-point buzzer beater in Game 6 of last year's playoffs. Lillard might be ready to add to Houston's misery, as he scored 32 points in Minnesota on Saturday.
3. X-Factor - These teams have split two meetings this season, and LaMarcus Aldridge missed the first meeting, a 110-95 home win for Houston. Aldridge though scored 24 points in the most recent meeting, helping the Blazers win 109-98 at Houston.
Selection: This is a play on the Portland Trailblazers (8*)
