The Gonzaga Bulldogs are one of the best teams in the country, but they have failed miserably in the NCAA Tournament in recent years. They have a tough second round match-up against Iowa Sunday, and they are asked to cover a big number. Iowa won it's final six games of the season, and blew out Davidson by a score of 83-52 in the first round of the tourney.
Here are my keys to the game:
1. Previous History - Iowa comes in playing it's best ball of the season, and it's covered the spread in all but one of it's last eight games. The Bulldogs have failed to cover in four of their last five against Big-10 teams.
2. Size Advantage - The Bulldogs have yet to face a team with the size and athleticism of Iowa. "We haven't seen size like this in any of our non-league games or anything. This is a really, really long team," Gonzaga coach Mark Few said. "When we're on offense, it's going to be interesting to see how our guys adjust to that."
3. X-Factor - The Bulldogs are 1-4 ATS in their last 5 NCAA Tournament games.
Selection: This is a play on the Iowa Hawkeyes(10*) (10*)
