The Spurs might have a little revenge on their minds as they host Dallas tonight, as the only loss over their last five games came in Dallas in a game that they controlled in the first half. The Mavs rallied in the third quarter of that game going on to win by a score of 101-94, but I don't like their chances of doing the same here in San Antonio.
Here are my keys to the game:
1. Spurs On A Roll - They've won 11 of their last 14 overall, and nine of their last 10 in San Antonio. They've also covered the spread in five of their last six at home.
2. Home Cookin' - The Mavs have failed to cover in six straight road games, and seven straight against teams with a winning percentage greater than .600. Only Portland and Golden State have a better home record than the Spurs in the Western Conference.
3. X-Factor - The Spurs shot 58% from the field (51-of-88), and six players scored in double-digits in the win over Oklahoma City last night.
Selection: This is a play on the San Antonio Spurs(8*)
