The Michigan State Spartans appear to have saved their best basketball for the month of March, and the have a chance to advance to the Final Four with a victory over Louisville Sunday. Both teams have overcome a lot to get here, but I think the Spartans are better equipped to move on in the tournament.

Here are my keys to the game:

1. Previous History - The Spartans have been the better bet when playing outside their conference. Michigan State has covered the spread in four straight non-conference games, while the Cardinals are 1-5-1 ATS in their last seven outside the ACC.

2. Chris Jones - Louisville suspended their starting guard back in February, and they never really looked the same since. He averaged over 13 points per game and led the team in assists.

3. X-Factor - Travis Trice is coming off consecutive 20+ point performances against Oklahoma and Virginia, and he's hit 8-of-17 three-point attempts in those games.
