The Golden State Warriors don't need to keep winning, but it looks like they've just decided that there is no sense in turning it off, because it might not be easy to turn it back on. They are just a slight favorite on the road at New Orleans tonight, and I think we'll see them bounce back after losing to the Spurs.
Here are my keys to the game:
1. Previous History - The Warriors had won 12 straight before falling to the Spurs in San Antonio on Sunday. They've also taken 10 straight meetings in this series with New Orleans.
2. Situational/Motivational - Warriors coach Steve Kerr doesn't talk like a coach that is satisfied by his teams success. Here is what he said following the loss to the Spurs: "We've got to get better, we've got to keep improving. We've got five games to get better and then we should try to get better with every playoff game as well."
3. X-Factor - The Pelicans have failed to cover the spread in all but one of the last nine home meetings with the Warriors.
Selection: This is a play on the Golden State Warriors (8*)
