The San Francisco Giants are coming off four consecutive losses, the most recent a 2-0 defeat last night in the opener of a three game set against the Colorado Rockies. I like their chances of bouncing back with a win tonight though, Colorado might be 4-0 away from home for the season, but remember it had the worst road record in baseball last year. It's only a matter of time before the Rockies start racking up road losses again, and I think it starts at AT&T Park tonight.

Here are my keys to the game:

1. Pitching - The Rockies will hand the ball to Christian Bergman who hurled one scoreless innings coming in from the bullpen in a 5-1 win against the Cubs his first outing of the season. He'll make his first start of the year here filling in for injured Jorge De La Rosa, but he made 10 starts his rookie season last year as he was 3-5 with a 5.93 ERA. He was 1-0 over two starts against the Giants overall, but gave up five runs on 17 hits with two homers over 12 innings of work. The hosts will counter with Tim Hudson who was 9-13 with a 3.57 ERA last season but started the season really strong going 4-1 with a 2.17 ERA over six starts in April. It looks like he's in for another solid start to this season as well as he tossed tossed 6 1/3 scoreless innings while conceding five hits in a 1-0 win against the Padres five days ago.

2. Road Woes - Christian Bergman was 0-2 over four starts away from home last season, and despite the Rockies early success away from home so far, keep in mind they're 13-43 in their last 56 road games. Success in San Francisco has been equally scarce where they're 17-37 in the last 54 meetings.

3. X-Factor - Nori Aoki has had no trouble making himself comfortable in a Giants uniform since coming over from the Royals and are 14-for-34 so far on the year.
