"The Coach's" MLB Late Show SPECIAL
(MLB) Colorado vs. LA Dodgers,
Money Line: -189.00 LA Dodgers (Home)
Result: Win
Money Line: -189.00 LA Dodgers (Home)
Result: Win
The Dodgers bats have been hot so far this season, none hotter than Adrian Gonzalez who leads the league with a .550 batting average, and five home runs. They are tied with Colorado for first place in the NL West, and they will look to take sole possession of the division lead with a home win over the Rockies tonight.
Here are my keys to the game:
1. Pitching - Zack Greinke will be on the mound for the Dodgers, and he's coming off a win in his most recent start. Greinke tossed seven scoreless innings, giving up five hits while striking out seven in a win over the D'Backs. He was 10-2 with a 2.55 ERA in 15 starts in Los Angeles last year. The Rockies counter with Jordan Lyles, who was hit hard by the Dodgers in 2014.
2. Batter vs. Pitcher - Yasiel Puig is 3-for-5 lifetime versus Lyles, while Jimmy Rollins is 10-for-5 against the rigth-hander.
3. X-Factor - Lyles was 0-1 with a 5.11 ERA in two starts versus the Dodgers last season.
Selection: This is a play on the Los Angeles Dodgers(6*)
