The Clippers took the Rockets by surprise in Game 1 in Houston, but the Rockets battled back to tie the series heading into tonight's Game 3 at the Staples Center. L.A. is just 2-2 at home in these playoffs so far, and it took a miracle buzzer beater from the injured Chris Paul to get past the Spurs.
Here are my keys to the game:
1. Previous History - The Clippers haven't been any better at home in these playoffs than they have been on the road, and dating back to the regular season, they have covered in just one of their last nine home games. Houston has been a good bet in previous trips to the Staples Center covering in 16 of their last 23.
2. James Harden - He scored 16 points in the fourth quarter (32 total) in Game 2. "We let Game 1 slip away and we didn't want that feeling for Game 2," Harden said. "It's going to be a tough two games in a row, but we've got our mojo now."
3. Three Point Shooting - JJ Redick, Austin Rivers, Jamal Crawford and Matt Barnes shot a combined 4-of-22 from downtown after going 13-of-27 in Game 1.
Selection: This is a play on the Houston Rockets (10*)
