Atlanta hasn't really looked like the top seed in the East so far in these playoffs, and they head to Washington with the series tied at 1-1. Even without John Wall, the Wizards were competitive in Game 2 in Atlanta, as they trailed by just five points heading into the fourth quarter. I think the Hawks are overvalued as a road favorite here in Game 3.
Here are my keys to the game:
1. Home Cookin' - The Hawks have failed to cover in four straight road games versus a team with a winning record, while the Wizards have covered in five straight in Washington.
2. Three- Point Shooting - The Wizards shot 54% from beyond the arc, hitting two more three point shots with seven fewer attempts than Atlanta. The Hawks won the game at the free throw line, and might not get as many calls here on the road in Game 3.
3. X-Factor - The Wizards have to be encouraged by the play of backup guard Ramon Sessions, who scored 21 points starting in place of Wall in Game 2.
Selection: This is a play on the Washington Wizards (10*)
