The Atlanta Braves have lost the first two game of this series in L.A., and they are in danger of being swept by the Dodgers tonight. This Braves team has won seven of it's last 11, and I like Atlanta's chances of catching the Dodgers by surprise.
Here are my keys to the game:
1. Pitching - Zach Greinke will get the start for the Dodgers, and he's been having another fine season. Greinke (5-1, 1.48 ERA) allowed one run on six hits over 7.2 innings in a 2-1 win over the Padres in his last start. The Braves will counter with Alex Wood, who is coming off consecutive quality starts. Wood owns a miniscule 0.93 ERA in three appearances versus the Dodgers in his career.
2. Batter vs Pitcher - Jimmy Rollins is 0-for-14 lifetime versus Wood, and Adrian Gonzalez is 0-for-5 versus the southpaw.
3, X-Factor - The last time Greinke faced the Braves, the Dodgers won by a score of 3-2. The other pitcher in that game was a 23 year old by the name of Alex Wood.
Selection: This is a play on the Atlanta Braves +1.5 (8*)
