The Arizona Diamondbacks upset the Giants in the series opener at AT&T Park last night, and I like Arizona as an underdog here in Game 2. The Giants have lost eight of their last 12 overall, and they were no-hit through the first seven innings last night.
Here are my keys to the game:
1. Pitching - Ryan Vogelsong will be on the hill for the home team, and he was roughed up in his most recent outing. The 37 year old gave up five runs on seven hits over 6.2 innings in a loss at Philadelphia. He's allowed nine runs on 13 hits over 12.2 innings in consecutive losses. The D'Backs counter with rookie Alan Webster, who makes his 2015 debut.
2. Batter vs. Pitcher - The Arizona lineup is hitting .333 versus Vogelsong, and Aaron Hill is 15-for-33 with a pair of home runs and six RBIs versus the right-hander.
3. X-Factor - The Diamondbacks have won four of their last five games at AT&T Park.
Selection: This is a play on the Arizona Diamondbacks +1.5 (8*)
