The Houston Astros put an end to a seven game losing skid with a 10-0 win over the Mariners in Game 1 of this series, and I like the Astros here in Game 2 this afternoon.
Here are my keys to the game:
1. Pitching - Colin McHugh will be on the mound for the Astros, and the 27 year old has been having a fine season. McHugh (6-2, 4.34 ERA) gave up three runs on seven hits over six innings in a no decision at Toronto in his last outing. He's faced Seattle twice this season, winning both of those games. The Mariners counter with rookie Mike Montgomery, who is still in search of his first big league victory.
2. Mariners Bats - The Mariners have scored 208 runs so far, the fewest of any team in the American League. Only Philly has fewer runs scored than Seattle in the majors.
3. X-Factor - Houston has won 12 of it's last 16 home games.
Selection: This is a play on the Houston Astros (8*)
