The Blue Jays have come up just short losing consecutive one-run games to the Mets at Citi Field, but we should see a little more offense with the series shifting to Rogers Center. That's not good news for the Mets, who are likely to have a tough time keeping up with Toronto's major league leading offense, especially against a hot Toronto pitcher.
Here are my keys to the game:
1. Pitching - Drew Hutchison will be on the hill for the Jays, and he's been brilliant in recent home starts. Hutchison (5-1, 5.75 ERA) didn't have his best stuff at Fenway in his last outing, getting roughed up for eight runs on nine hits in less than three innings. Before that though, he gave up just one run on six hits over 6.1 frames in a home win over Houston. He's 4-1 with a 2.72 ERA at home in Toronto. The Mets counter with Jonathon Niese, who has been terrible on the road this season.
2. Home Cookin' - The Mets own one of the worst road records in all of baseball, going 10-19 away from Citi Field.
3. X-Factor - Josh Donaldson is hitting .372 with 12 home runs and 28 RBIs at Rogers Center this season.
