The Coach's MLB Heavy Hitter - (Bigtime Blowout Potential)
(MLB) Milwaukee vs. Kansas City,
Money Line: -141.00 Kansas City (Home)
Result: Win
Money Line: -141.00 Kansas City (Home)
Result: Win
The Kansas City Royals are heating up again, and they'll try to complete the sweep in this four game series versus Milwaukee tonight. The Brewers have lost five straight, and sit dead last in the NL Central. The price is right to back the Royals at home tonight.
Here are my keys to the game:
1. Pitching - Jeremy Guthrie will get the nod for the Royals, and he's been solid again this season. Guthrie (4-4, 5.79 ERA) gave up three runs on 10 hits over five innings in a 3-2 loss at St. Louis in his last start. He's been better at home than he has been on the road, and he's also been better under the lights than he has been in afternoon games. The Brewers counter with Jimmy Nelson, who has been hit hard all year.
2. Royals Bullpen - Kansas City owns the best bullpen in the American League with an ERA of 1.97.
3. X-Factor - Lorenzo Cain is 5-for-12 with a pair of home runs and five RBIs in his last three games.
Selection: This is a play on the Kansas City Royals (8*)
