(MLB) Chi White Sox vs. Minnesota,
Money Line: -142.00 Minnesota (Home)
Result: Win
Money Line: -142.00 Minnesota (Home)
Result: Win
The Twins are still only 3.5 games out of first place in the AL Central, and they host the last place White Sox tonight in a nationally televised game at Target Field. The White Sox have lost six in a row on the road, and they are 12-23 overall away from Chicago this season. The price is right to back the Twins at home tonight.
Here are my keys to the game:
1. Pitching - Tommy Milone will be on the mound for the Twins, and he's impressed in recent outings. Milone (3-1, 3.67 ERA) gave up just one run on five hits over seven frames in a 3-1 win over St. Louis in his last start. This will be the second time he faces the White Sox, he shut them out through 7.2 innings in a win at Chicago earlier in the season. The White Sox counter with John Danks, who has lost three straight, and was hammered for seven runs on eight hits in 2.1 innings in a loss to the Twins earlier in the year.
2. Batter vs. Pitcher - The Twins lineup is batting a combined .342 versus Danks, and Torii Hunter is hitting .327 with four home runs and 11 RBIs in 52 at bats versus the southpaw.
3. X-Factor - The White Sox are 3-9 in Danks' last 12 road starts.
Selection: This is a play on the Minnesota Twins (8*)
