The Coach's MLB Heavy Hitter - (Bigtime Blowout Potential)
(MLB) NY Yankees vs. Houston,
Money Line: -144.00 Houston (Home)
Result: Win
Money Line: -144.00 Houston (Home)
Result: Win
The Houston Astros will host the New York Yankees at Minute Maid Park tonight, and the Astros will be looking to get a little payback against a team that has owned them over the years. This time it is Houston that will be the favorite with its ace on the mound at home.
Here are my keys to the game:
1. Pitching - Dallas Keuchel will be on the hill for Houston, and the left-hander has been having an impressive 2015 campaign. Keuchel (8-3, 2.35 ERA) didn't have his best stuff in a loss on the road in Seattle in his last start. He's been untouchable in Houston though, with a record of 6-0 with a 1.68 ERA at Minute Maid Park. The Yankees counter with Adam Warren, who is 2-3 with a 4.91 ERA on the road.
2. Home Cookin' - The Yankees have lost four of their last five road games, while the Astros are 13-3 in their last 16 home games vs. a right-handed starter.
3. X-Factor - The Astros are 9-2 in Keuchel's last 11 home starts.
Selection: This is a play on the Houston Astros (8*)
