The Coach's MLB Runline PUNISHER
(MLB) Colorado vs. Oakland,
Point Spread: 1.50 | -160.00 Colorado (Away)
Result: Loss
Point Spread: 1.50 | -160.00 Colorado (Away)
Result: Loss
The Colorado Rockies have won five of their last eight, and one of those three losses came in a one-run game at home to Arizona. They are in Oakland tonight, and the A's are a big favorite despite the fact that their record is roughly the same (one more win). The Rockies actually have won two more games on the road than the A's have won in Oakland.
Here are my keys to the game:
1. Pitching - David Hale will get the nod for the visitors, and his numbers really aren't that impressive. The 27 year old has pitched almost exclusively in Colorado though, so those stats are perhaps artificially inflated. He's only had one start on the road this season, but he was 3-2 with a 3.72 ERA on the road last year. The A's counter with Kendall Graveman who is 0-3 with a 7.84 ERA at home so far.
2. Nolan Arenado - The Rockies slugger is hitting .391 with seven home runs and 14 RBIs over the last seven days.
3. X-Factor - The Rockies are 5-2 in their last 7 games vs. a right-handed starter.
Selection: This is a play on the Colorado Rockies +1.5 (8*)
