(MLB) Chi Cubs vs. NY Mets,
Money Line: -115.00 Chi Cubs (Away)
Result: Win
Money Line: -115.00 Chi Cubs (Away)
Result: Win
The Chicago Cubs have lost five straight, but a date with the light hitting Mets at Citi Field tonight might be just what the doctor ordered. The Mets have lost seven of their last 11, and they've failed to score more than two runs in nine of those 11 games.
Here are my keys to the game:
1. Pitching - Kyle Hendricks will get the nod for the visitors, and he should do well in a pitcher's park. Hendricks (2-4, 4.46 ERA) gave up four runs on four hits over just five innings in home loss to the Dodgers in his last appearance. The Mets counter with Jonathon Niese, who is has not been sharp this season. Niese gave up six runs on six hits in a loss to the Cubs earlier this season.
2. Mets Offense - Only the Phillies have scored fewer runs than the Mets among National League teams in 2015.
3. X-Factor - The Mets are 4-22 in their last 26 games as an underdog.
Selection: This is a play on the Chicago Cubs (10*)
