The Coach's MLB Runline PUNISHER
(MLB) Colorado vs. Oakland,
Point Spread: 1.50 | -135.00 Colorado (Away)
Result: Loss
The Colorado Rockies and the Oakland Athtletics are sitting bottom of their respective division and have split the first two of a three game series at O.co Coliseum. I disagree that the home-team should be such a huge favorite coming into this game and I'm more than happy to take the visitors on the run-line at this price.

Here are my keys to the game:

1. Pitching - The Rockies will hand the ball to Chad Bettis (4-2, 3.56 ERA) who is coming off a pair of wins where he's allowed a total of four runs on 11 hits over 12 1/3 innings. He's been solid in virtually all of his three day starts this season, conceding only six runs in 19 2/3 innings and this should be a good spot for his first career meeting with the A's who will counter with Jesse Hahn (5-6, 3.47 ERA). Hahn is coming off a rather poor performance in a 5-2 loss against the Royals, and had little help from his defense when he surrendered five runs (three earned) on nine hits in six innings. Much like Bettis he's also been solid in day games this season, but he's struggled against Rockies in his brief career going 0-1 with a 5.68 ERA in two meetings while with San Diego last season.

2. The Rockies Bats - The Rockies have averaged six runs per game over their last six while batting .268, and they've feasted on right-handers all season long compiling a major leagues-best .275 batting average for the year.

3. X-Factor - Colorado's Nolan Arenado will be looking to extend his 17-game hitting streak over which he's been batting .364.

Selection: This is a play on the Colorado Rockies +1.5 (8*)
