The Coach's MLB Runline PUNISHER

The Detroit Tigers opened a three-game set at Safeco Field with a dominant 12-5 win Monday night, and I think the Mariners are unmotivated big favorites in tonight's match-up. While the Tigers definitely can threaten to win outright, it's better to be safe than sorry and I recommend laying a bit of juice taking the visitors on the run-line.
Here are my keys to the game:
1. Pitching - The Mariners hand the ball to Taijuan Walker (7-6, 4.34 ERA) who's looking for a sixth consecutive "W", surrendering one run or less in all but one of his last five starts. This will be his first career meeting with the Tigers, and I expect Detroit's hot bats to hit him hard. The Tigers will counter with Kyle Ryan (1-2, 4.55 ERA) who'll make his sixth start in the major leagues. He's 0-2 with a 4.71 ERA in four starts for the year but should be able to better those numbers here against a Seattle team that has struggled at the plate all season long.
2. The Tigers Bats - Detroit has scored a total of 44 runs over its last seven games with a .342 team batting average. J.D. Martinez has 11 homers in his last 13 games and was 3-for-5 with a home-run in last night's contest.
3. X-Factor - The Mariners are 11-30 against the run-line home at Safeco this season.
Selection: This is a play on the Detroit Tigers +1.5 (8*)
