The Houston Astros are fighting for their playoff lives, trailing Texas by 1.5 games in the AL West, and sitting just 2.5 games clear of the Angels in the Wild Card race. They host the Halos tonight, and I like Houston with their ace on the mound.

Here are my keys to the game:

1. Pitching - The Astros hand the ball to Dallas Keuchel, who simply doesn't lose in Houston. At least he hasn't lost at home in 2015, with an incredible record of 13-0 with a 1.49 ERA in 16 starts at Minute Maid Park. The Angels will counter with Jered Weaver, who was one of the best in the business when he was in his prime. He's looking well past his prime these days though, with a record of 7-11 with a 4.74 ERA.

2. Home Cookin' - The Astros are 42-16 in their last 58 home games, while the Angels have dropped 20 of their last 29 on the road. Weaver is 3-9 with a 6.21 ERA on the road in 2015.

3. X-Factor - The Angels rank dead last in the American League in runs scored since the All Star break, batting a major league worst .234 during that span.
