Result: Win
The 0-2 Giants are hosting the 1-1 Washington Redskins on Thursday Night Football, and the Giants are just a small favorite. This will be the Redskins first road game of the season, and they lost seven of eight on the road last year. I think the price is right to back the G-Men to pick up their first win of the season.
Here are my keys to the game:
1. Giants Run Defense - The Redskins have relied heavily on their running game so far this season, but they will face a Giants defense that has allowed opponents to average just 68 yards in it's first two games. Washington only ran the ball 17 times for 86 yards in a 45-14 home loss to the Giants last year. Alfred Morris ran for 49 yards on 14 carries in a 24-13 loss in New York last December.
2. Odell Beckham Jr. - He burned the Washington secondary for 143 yards and three TDs on a dozen catches the last time these teams met. He is coming off a big game last week, catching seven passes for 146 yards and a TD.
3. X-Factor - The Giants have won and covered in four straight meetings with Washington, and the Redskins are 4-10 ATS in their last 14 road games.
Selection: This is a play on the New York Giants (10*)
