The Milwaukee Brewers have lost 12 of their last 17 overall, but they did take Game 1 of this series in San Diego last night. The Padres only have two home games remaining this season, and I think they'll give their fans something to cheer about with a win in Game 2.
Here are my keys to the game:
1. Pitching - The Padres hand the ball to Andrew Cashner, who used to be the team's ace. He hasn't looked much like an ace this year, but he is coming off back-to-back wins. The Brewers counter with rookie right-hander Zach Davies, who will make his 6th career start. The 22 year old has struggled with his control, walking 13 over 27 innings.
2. Corey Spangenberg - The Padres second baseman was 2-for-4 with a triple last night, and he's batting .292 since the All Star break.
3. X-Factor - The Brewers are 10-21 in their last 31 road games.
Selection: This is a play on the San Diego Padres (6*)
