The Florida Gators will look to remain undefeated when they take on the Tigers in Missouri on Saturday. The Gators shocked Ole Miss last week, winning by a score of 38-10 in the swamp. The Bookmakers are expecting a low scoring affair here at "The Zou", and I think the value lies with a play on the over with an extremely low total.
Here are my keys to the game:
1. Quarterbacks - The quarterback position has been a sore spot for the Gators in recent seasons, but freshman Will Grier has looked sharp so far, throwing for 996 yards and 10 TDs. His performance versus Ole Miss was his best game yet, with 271 yards and four TDs. The Tigers will also have a freshman under center, going with Drew Lock instead of Maty Mauk. Lock threw for 136 yards and two TDs in his first start of the season in last week's win over the Gamecocks.
2. Previous History - The Tigers have won the last two meetings in this series, and both of those games went over the total. The over is 9-4 in Gators last 13 vs. a team with a winning record.
3. X-Factor - The last time the Tigers played a ranked team at home, they surrendered three rushing TDs in a 34-0 loss to the Georgia Bulldogs last October.
Selection: This is a play on the Gators@Tigers to go OVER the total (1* Free Pick)
