The San Diego Chargers lost a heart-breaker on Monday night versus the Steelers, and now they travel to Green Bay to face the undefeated Packers. The visitors are getting an awful lot of points though, and I think Phillip Rivers can keep this game close at Lambeau.
Here are my keys to the game:
1. Injuries - The Packers haven't let injuries stop them from winning five straight games to start the season, but the list of walking wounded is growing every week, and it's only a matter of time before they feel the effects. The latest casualties are B.J. Raji and Nick Perry, who are both expected to be sidelined after being injured last week.
2. Phillip Rivers - Even Behind a banged up offensive line, Rivers continues to put up huge numbers for the Chargers. He ranks third in the NFL with 1613 passing yards and 10 TDs. The last time he faced the Packers, he threw for 387 yards and four TDs in a 45-38 home loss.
3. X-Factor - The Chargers are 8-3 ATS in their last 11 road games vs. a team with a winning home record.
Selection: This is a play on the San Diego Chargers (10*)
