*10* GAME OF WEEK on the Seattle Seahawks.
The Seattle Seahawks made a statement last Thursday night, putting the rest of the league on notice, that their elite defense hasn't lost a step. They beat San Francisco by a score of 20-3, and I think we'll see a similar result here in Dallas against a Cowboys team that is really missing Tony Romo.
Here are my keys to the game:
1. Seattle Run Game - The Seahawks lead the league in rushing by a wide margin, averaging over 143 yards per game. Marshawn Lynch ran for a season high 122 yards and a TD in the win over the 49ers, and backup Tomas Rawls is no slouch either. Rawls ran for 169 yards and a TD in the loss to Cincinnati a few weeks ago.
2. Matt Cassel - The Seahawks have been burned by elite quarterbacks in losses to the Panthers, Bengals and Packers, but they've obliterated teams with struggling starters. Jimmy Clausen threw for just 63 yards on 9-of-17 passing in a 26-0 loss at Seattle. Last week Coin Kaepernick was sacked six times and threw for just 124 yards. Cassel looked pretty bad last week throwing three INTs in the loss to the Giants.
3. X-Factor - The Seahawks are 5-1 ATS in their last six versus a team with a losing record.
Selection: This is a play on the Seattle Seahawks (10*)
