*10* Coach's Playbook on Detroit Pistons.

Both the Detroit Pistons and the Portland Trail Blazers are off to a good start of the season. The Pistons have won four of their five while the Trail Blazers are 4-2 over their first six, and I like Detroit to be the team to add another win to its tally tonight.

Here are my keys to the game:

1. Detroits Defense - The Pistons have allowed the third fewest points in the league at 92.2 per game. Center Andre Drummond is top of the league with 12.2 defensive boards per game and the Pistons lead the league in rebounds at a 52.0 overall average.

2. Situational - Detroit is off a 100-92 win at Phoenix Friday night and its 6-0 ATS in its last six games playing on one days rest. Portland is just 2-8-1 ATS in its last 11 games vs. a team with a winning S.U. record.

3. X-Factor - Detroit's Reggie Jackson has averaged 21.7 points in his last three games.
