*10* NCAAF GAME OF YEAR on Nebraska.
The 11-0 Iowa Hawkeyes will travel to Lincoln to take on the 5-6 Cornhuskers, and at first glance this might look like a mismatch. A closer look will reveal that almost all of Nebraska's losses have come in close games, including a pair of games decided on Hail Mary TDs. My money is on Nebraska as a home dog here in a big game for both teams.
Here are my keys to the game:
1. Situational/Motivational - While the Hawkeyes need to win to keep their playoff hopes alive, Nebraska needs one more win to become bowl eligible. The pressure is really on the visitors here, and I think they will struggle against an underrated opponent.
2. Previous History - The Cornhuskers have won five of the last six meetings between the two teams, and that includes a 37-34 win at Iowa last year. Nebraska has covered the spread in seven of it's last 10 versus teams with a winning record.
3. X-Factor - The Hawkeyes are 2-8 ATS in their last 10 road games vs. a team with a losing home record.
Selection: This is a play on the Nebraska Cornhuskers (10*)
