*10* MASSACRE on UNDER Northern Illinois/Bowling Green.
The Bowling Green Falcons will be a double-digit favorite against Northern Illinois in the MAC Championship Game at Ford Field tonight. The Falcons certainly have the ability to light up the scoreboard, but they are facing a stingy Huskies defense that held them to just 17 points in the most recent head to head meeting. I think tonight's total looks a little inflated.
Here are my keys to the game:
1. Previous History - The Falcons have failed to reach the total in four of their last five versus conference opponents, while the Huskies have seen the total go under in five of their last six versus opponents with a winning record.
2. NIU Quarterbacks - The Huskies quarterback situation is in shambles, with starter Drew Hare sidelined by injury, and backup Ryan Graham leaving last week's game with a leg injury. They may have to turn to third stringer Tommy Fiedler tonight.
3. X-Factor - The Huskies have gone under in 11 of their last 16 neutral site games.
Selection: This is a play on the Huskies@Falcons to go UNDER the total (10*)
