*10* MASSACRE on UNDER Army/Navy.
The annual Army/Navy game will be the highlight of the week on the college gridiron, and the Midshipmen will once again be the heavy favorite. Navy has won 13 straight versus the Black Knights, but three of the last four meetings have been close games decided by less than seven points. History suggests that this will be a tight low scoring battle, as the total has gone under in each of the last nine meetings.
Here are my keys to the game:
1. Ground and Pound - All three military academy schools (Army, Navy, Air Force) use the triple-option offense, and all three rank in the Top 10 nationally in rushing. These teams rarely air it out, and that's a big reason why we've seen so many low scores in recent meetings.
2. Quarterbacks - The Black Knights were forced to start freshman Chris Carter at quarterback last week, with both their first and second string quarterbacks sidelined by injury. He only attempted six passes, throwing for 140 yards with a TD and an INT.
3. X-Factor - The Under is 12-2 in Black Knights last 14 neutral site games.
Selection: This is a play on Navy@Army to go UNDER the total (10*)
