*10* MASSACRE on Wichita State.

The Wichita State Shockers have dropped out of the rankings after suffering four losses in their first seven games. They host the 7-1 UNLV Rebels tonight, and the Rebels only other road game was against minnows Chaminade. Wichita State looked like a different team in a double-digit road win over Saint Louis on Saturday, and my money is on the Shockers at home.

Here are my keys to the game:

1. Fred Van Fleet - The Shockers starting PG missed four games due to injury, and three of those games were losses. He returned to score 11 points with seven assists and three steals in the win over the Billikens.

2. Home Cookin' - The Shockers are 7-3-1 ATS in their last 11 home games vs. a team with a winning record. Going back further, they've covered the spread in 48 of their last 67 home games.

3. X-Factor - The Shockers have shot the ball well from the charity stripe, hitting 77 percent so far. That's eight percentage points better than the Rebels.
