*10* Sun Bowl SIDE WINNER on Washington State.
The Washington State Cougars exceeded expectations with an 8-4 record this season, including upset wins at Oregon and UCLA. They will face the Miami Hurricanes in the Hyundai Sun Bowl on Boxing Day, and I like Washington State as a slight favorite.
Here are my keys to the game:
1. Luke Faulk - The Cougars quarterback threw for 4,266 yards and 36 TDs this season. He did not play in the final game of the season, a loss to Washington. "It was really tough to watch (the loss to Washington) and not be able to play," Falk said. "It's a game you're looking forward to all year." He led all FBS quarterbacks averaging 387 passing yards per game.
2. Previous History - Miami is 0-5 ATS in it's last five neutral site games, while the Cougars are 6-0 ATS in their last six games versus a team with a winning record.
3. X-Factor - The Cougars will have the PAC12 Coach of the Year on the sidelines, while Miami has an interim coach in Larry Scott.
Selection: This is a play on the Washington State Cougars (10*)
