*10* Alamo Bowl TOP TOTAL on OVER TCU/Oregon.
The Oregon Ducks closed out the season winning their final six games, and during that span their offense was firing on all cylinders. When healthy, Oregon's quarterback Vernon Adams has been as good as anybody. The Horned Frogs are also a team with a prolific offense, but they couldn't score enough points to avoid losses to Oklahoma and Oklahoma State down the stretch. My money is on the Ducks in the Alamo Bowl.
Here are my keys to the game:
1. Previous History - The Ducks have done well in bowl games, covering the spread in five of their last seven. They are also 5-1 ATS in their last six neutral site games. The Horned Frogs on the other hand have failed to cover in five of their last six bowl games, and they've played four straight overs against PAC12 teams.
2. Oregon's Offense - Vernon Adams Jr. broke his finger early in the year, and the offense sputtered when he was not healthy. He returned to action in Week 7 after sitting out four games, and since then Oregon scored an average of 45 points while winning six straight. He threw for 21 TDs and just four INTs during that span.
3. X-Factor - The Over is 7-3 in Horned Frogs last 10 non-conference games.
Selection: This is a play on ORE@TCU to go OVER the total (10*)
