*10* Total MASSACRE on OVER Chargers/Raiders.

The Oakland Raiders will host the San Diego Chargers in a Christmas Eve edition of Thursday Night Football. Neither team is heading to the playoffs, so we might expect a high scoring game between two teams with nothing to lose. My money is on the total to go OVER.

Here are my keys to the game:

1. Previous History - These teams have gone over in six of the last eight meetings in Oakland, and the Raiders have gone over at a rate of 3-0-1 in their last four at home. The over is 19-7-1 in Chargers last 27 road games versus a team with a losing home record.

2. Philip Rivers - The Chargers veteran quarterback is second in the NFL in passing, right behind Tom Brady with 4,287 yards. He threw for 311 yards and three TDs in a win over Miami last week.

3. X-Factor - Oakland ranks 28th in the NFL against the pass, allowing opponents to average 266 passing yards per game.
