*8* play on OVER Giants/Vikings.
The New York Giants come into Minnesota on Sunday night with nothing to play for, after Washington clinched the NFC East with a win at Philly. The Vikings are still in the hunt for the NFC North, so they'll be looking to take advantage of a shorthanded Giants squad without Odell Beckham. We see a pretty low number on this game, and I don't have a lot of faith in the Giants defense.
Here are my keys to the game:
1. Giants Defense - The Giants are the only team in the NFL allowing more than 300 passing yards per game, and only Philly ranks worse in total defense. They surrendered a total of 480 yards in last week's loss to the Panthers.
2. Previous History - The Giants have gone over the total in six of their last seven games played on artificial turf, and six of their last eight overall.
3. X-Factor - The Vikings have some key injuries on defense, including Harrison Smith (knee/hamstring), linebacker Anthony Barr (knee) and defensive tackle Linval Joseph (foot) back.
Selection: This is a play on the Giants@Vikings to go OVER the total (8*)
