*10* TOTAL OF WEEK on UNDER Cavaliers/Suns.
Two teams far from the top of their game will do battle at Talking Stick Resort Monday night as the Phoenix Suns will entertain the Cleveland Cavaliers. Phoenix has lost four straight while Cleveland is off back-to-back defeats at Golden State and Portland, and I think we'll see a low-scoring game as both teams will play hard on D to try and secure a win.
Here are my keys to the game:
1. The Cavs Offensive Woes - Cleveland managed to hold Golden State to only 89 points in Christmas Day's Main Event in the NBA but it still came up short with only 83 points scored itself. It was even worse at Portland the next day with 76 points scored on 36.4% shooting from the field.
2. Previous Meetings - The under is 10-1-1 in the last 12 head-to-head meetings overall and only one of the last six meetings at Phoenix have climbed over the total.
3. X-Factor - The Cavs are averaging only 96.2 points per game on the road which can be compared to a 99.9 mark overall this season.
Selection: This is a play on CLE@PHO to go UNDER the total (10*)
