*8* play on Indian Pacers.
Two struggling teams will tip off at Amway Center Wednesday night when the Orlando Magic play host to the Indiana Pacers. The Magic are losers of three straight while the Pacers have one win in their last four, and I like the Pacers in this match-up.
Here are my keys to the game:
1. Fatigue - The Magic lost 115-89 at Detroit Monday, and coach Scott Skiles did not like what he saw. "Two or three minutes into the game, and we already had guys bending over and grabbing their shorts. We've been a low-energy team for a while now," Skiles said after the defeat. Odds are they'll struggle with fatigue tonight as well.
2. Previous Meetings - The Pacers defeated the Magic 97-84 home at Indiana on Nov. 9 to make it five straight wins in the series. They've lost just one of the last 10 meetings while holding Orlando to an average of 85.6 points on average in that span.
3. X-Factor - Indiana's Paul George has been terrific in his last three games, averaging 31.7 points while going 14-of-29 from behind the arc.
Selection: This is a a play on the Indiana Pacers (8*)
