*8* SURE SHOT on Dallas Stars.

The Dallas Stars ended a three-game skid with a 2-1 shootout win against Winnipeg Thursday. They'll host the Minnesota Wild tonight before getting six days off, and I expect the Stars to empty the tank and tame the Wild at American Airlines Center.

Here are my keys to the game:

1. Home Cookin' - The Stars have won five straight in front of the home-town crowd and theyre 17-4 home at Dallas this season. They've won 22 of their last 26 when hosting Minnesota.

2. Tyler Seguin - The 23 year old Stars center ended a three-game goal drought with his 24th goal of the season in Thursday's win against the Jets. He's likely to build on that performance here as he has four goals and five assists during a five-game point streak against the Wild.

3. X-Factor - Antti Niemi is expected to tend the net for Dallas and he has posted a 1.97 GAA in his last five meetings with Minnesota.
