*10* Total MASSACRE on OVER Devils/Blues.

The St. Louis Blues will host the New Jersey Devils tonight, in a match-up between two of the better defensive clubs in the NHL. We see an incredibly low number for the total in tonight's game, and I still think there is enough offensive firepower here to combine for at least five goals.

Here are my keys to the game:

1. Previous History - These teams have seen the total go under at a rate of 5-4-1 in the last 10 meetings, but tonight's total is lower than it was in any of those games. Six of those previous 10 contests saw at least five goals scored.

2. Power Play - Both teams have an above average power-play, but St. Louis has the advantage converting on 21.1 percent of their man-advantage chances, ranking 7th in the league.

3. X-Factor - The Blues have gone over the total in six of their last eight home games versus the Devils.
