*10* MASSACRE on New York Knicks.
The New York Knicks are fresh off a 120-114 win against Boston last night and will make a short trip to Brooklyn to face the crosstown rivals the Nets tonight. I don't think the Nets will be able to threaten the Knicks here, even with the visitors on a back-to-back.
Here are my keys to the game:
1. Home Woes - The Nets have lost 10 straight for their longest slide home at the newly built Barclays Center, and they've failed to cover the spread in each of the last five.
2. Brooklyn's Offensive Struggles - Already being the second lowest scoring team in the league at 95.2 points per game, the Nets' offensive struggles have reached near epic proportions lately averaging only 82.6 points during a five-game slide. They were 2-of-12 from behind the arc in Monday's 106-79 loss to the Spurs. The Knicks on the other hand impressed on offense against Boston last night and made a respectable seven of 20 three-point attempts.
3. X-Factor - Kristaps Porzingis has totaled 69 points, 23 rebounds and seven blocked shots in his last three games.
Selection: This is a play on the New York Knicks (10*)
