The Anaheim Ducks managed to turn their season around in December after a horrendous start to the season. They're 7-2-2 since December 27 and are looking good to pick up the win when hosting the reeling Minnesota Wild tonight.

Here are my keys to the game:

1. The Wild's Struggles On Offense - Minnesota is coming off back-to-back shutout defeats and has lit up the lamp only three times in its past four games, all losses. It has scored a total of 15 goals during a 2-5-2 stretch.

2. Road Woes - The teams have split two meetings this season with each side winning in its own building. The Wild are 6-13 in their last 19 away from home and have won only one of the last six meetings at the Duck Pond.

3. X-Factor - The Ducks acquired David Perron from the Penguins in exchange for Carl Hagelin over the weekend, and the 27 year old notched a goal in his debut in Sunday's 3-2 loss to the Kings.
