*10* Side MASSACRE on Carolina Panthers.
The Carolina Panthers have not lost at home this season, and they appear to have an edge here in the NFC Championship game versus Arizona. After seeing the Panthers dominate the Seahawks in the first half of last Sunday's game, there's no doubt in my mind that this team is going to the Super Bowl.
Here are my keys to the game:
1. Previous History - These teams have played four times since 2010, and the home team has won all four meetings. They met in last year's playoffs, and Carolina won that game 27-16.
2. Running Game - The Cardinals are a lot more one dimensional than Carolina, relying heavily on the passing game. The Panthers ran for 144 yards and a pair of TDs last week, against the NFL's top run defense.
3. X-Factor - We should see pretty poor field conditions here on Sunday. Charlotte was rocked by a snow storm this weekend, and that should result in the same slippery conditions we saw last week.
Selection: This is a play on the Carolina Panthers (10*)
