*10* NHL SURE SHOT on Vancouver Canucks.
The Vancouver Canucks lost three of their last four games prior to the All-Star break but I like their chances of taking down tonight's contest against the NHL-worst Columbus Blue Jackets.
Here are my keys to the game:
1. Previous Meetings - The Canucks are 15-2-2 in the last 19 match-ups against the Blue Jackets with an average of 3.31 goals scored per game. They've won seven of the last eight meetings at Rogers Arena.
2. The Blue Jackets Defense - Columbus ranks last in the NHL for goals allowed with 3.19 per game and it has really struggled with both Sergei Bobrovsky and Curtis McElhinney injured. McElhinney is with the team tonight, but we're likely to see 21 year old rookie Joonas Korpisalo making a fifth consecutive start. He gave up five goals on 35 shots in Tuesday's 5-1 defeat at Edmonton.
3. X-Factor - The Canucks netminder Ryan Miller is 3-1-1 with a 1.78 GAA in his last six meetings with the Blue Jackets.
Selection: This is a play on the Vancouver Canucks (8*)
