*10* MASSACRE on North Carolina.
The North Carolina Tar Heels are sitting in first place in the ACC, and they had won 12 straight before falling at Louisville on Monday. They will try to get back on track Saturday at Notre Dame. The Irish have lost two of their last three, and I think they'll be over-matched here against North Carolina.
Here are my keys to the game:
1. Previous History - The Irish won both meetings last season, setting up a revenge spot for the Tar Heels in this game. Notre Dame hasn't been a good bet when facing tough opposition, failing to cover the spread in seven of their last eight versus teams with a winning record.
2. Home Cookin' - Notre Dame has only covered the spread twice in it's last eight home games. The Tar Heels have won three of four road games against conference rivals, and they are 8-1 in the ACC.
3. X-Factor - North Carolina should have a big advantage on the boards, coming in averaging 39 rebounds per game. They also have an advantage at the free throw line, shooting 76.9 percent from the charity stripe on the road.
Selection: This is a play on the Norther Carolina Tar Heels (10*)
