The Oklahoma City Thunder had a five-game winning streak come to an end Saturday when they lost 116-108 at Golden State. They'll be looking to rebound with a win against the Phoenix Suns Monday night, but the hosts will definitely not go down without a fight and I think they're catching too many points here.
Here are my keys to the game:
1. The Thunder's Inability To Cover Spreads - Oklahoma City has covered the spread in only one of its last eight games overall and none of the last six when visiting a team with a losing home record. It's 5-17 ATS on the road this season.
2. The Last Meeting - The Suns lost just 110-106 when they visited Oklahoma City on Dec. 31 as they were allowed to shot 52.4% from the field including 8-of-20 from behind the arc.
3. X-Factor - The Suns have the Warriors on deck Wednesday. This is indeed their best opportunity to give interim coach Earl Watson a win before the All Star break and it looks like they've played for their coach in recent games.
Selection: This is a play on the Phoenix Suns (8*)
