*8* play on Pittsburgh.
The North Carolina Tar Heels sit in first place in the ACC, and they will be a double-digit favorite at home to Pittsburgh Sunday. The Panthers are coming off back-to-back losses, and they've dropped four of their last six overall. Pittsburgh didn't miss by much in a 65-63 loss at Miami in it's last game, and I think we'll see the Panthers keep this game close against the conference leaders.
Here are my keys to the game:
1. Previous History - Pittsburgh has taken two of the last three in this series, including an 80-75 win at Chapel Hill in 2014. The one loss came by just four points, losing 75-71 at North Carolina two years ago.
2. Home Cookin' - The Tar Heels have not been a good bet in recent home games, failing to cover in four of their last five. Pittsburgh on the other hand has been a solid bet on the road, going 5-2 ATS in it's last seven.
3. X-Factor - Pittsburgh ranks among the best in the country at the free throw line, hitting 78 percent from the charity stripe.
Selection: This is a play on the Pittsburgh Panthers (8*)
