The Winnipeg Jets have won three of their last four and opened a four-game road-trip with a 2-1 shootout win at Edmonton Saturday. They've won five straight meetings with the Hurricanes in Carolina, but I like the price we get on the home team to put an end to that losing streak tonight.

Here are my keys to the game:

1. Carolina's Recent Games - The Canes showed great efficiency Saturday when they defeated the Islanders 6-3 to extend their point-streak to four games. They've won three of their last four home at PNC Arena, outscoring opponents 17-6, and they defeated the Jets 5-3 in Winnipeg on Feb. 5.

2. Injuries - The Jets will be without defenseman Mark Stuart for at least four weeks because of a broken hand while the Canes are hoping to have blue-liner and leading scorer Justin Faulk available after him missing the past two games with a lower-body injury.

3. X-Factor - The Jets have lost nine of their last 12 following a win.
